JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...New Jersey City University will host the 2010 Hudson County Athletic Director Association (HCADA) Boys' Volleyball Tournament Championships on Friday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at NJCU's John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center, located on Culver and Westside Avenues.
NJCU annually hosts four Hudson County high school championship events in baseball, softball, girls' and boys' volleyball. This will be the first of three championship events held at NJCU during the month of May; the HCADA softball and baseball finals will be hosted on Saturday, May 22 at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., respectively, at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex.
The May 14 boys' volleyball final will be held on “Coach Charlie Brown Court” and will be highlighted by top-seeded St. Peter's Prep, which enters with an 18-2 record against the winner of Thursday's other county semifinal.
