JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...Sophomore center TAQUAN ABDULLAH (Kenilworth, NJ/David Brearley) netted a career-high 15 points, and New Jersey City University held an opponent to 40 or fewer points for the third time this season as the Gothic Knights, playing their best full-season of defense since 1981-82, ripped Berkeley College, 74-40, in a non-conference game at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center on “Coach Charlie Brown Court.”

Bowling, 3 Final Fours
The NJCU Women's Bowling teams has been to the National Collegiate Final Four three times in the first six years of the championship's history. NJCU appeared in 2004, 2006, and 2008, finishing 3rd in 2004 and 2008. NJCU also was fifth in 2005 and 2009.
Women's Volleyball, 2005 Champions

When the NJCU Women's Volleyball team won the 2005 New Jersey Athletic Conference championship, they became the first Gothic Knight team to win an NJAC women's title.

Men's Basketball NJAC titles
NJCU has won a record 11 New Jersey Athletic Conference championships in men's basketball. Rowan has won 10 and William Paterson 9.
