EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...New Jersey City University held its 2010 Commencement ceremonies on Wednesday, May 12 at the IZOD Center and among the 1,512 undergraduate and graduate students to receive their degrees were 29 former Gothic Knight student-athletes, including several who were among the best to ever play their sport at the University.

PITMAN, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...New Jersey City University sophomore ROB GONZALEZ (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial), the first player in program history to achieve two 60-hit seasons, has been honored for his catalyst abilities at the top of the Gothic Knights lineup, as he was voted Second Team All-New Jersey Athletic Conference by the league's head coaches.

JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...New Jersey City University celebrated Senior Day 2010 and leftfielder ROB GONZALEZ (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial)—only a sophomore—became the first player in program history to achieve two 60-hit seasons while accomplishing the feat in back-to-back years, but first place Rowan University officially clinched the New Jersey Athletic Conference regular season championship with a doubleheader sweep of NJCU, 14-9 and 7-3, on May 1 at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex. Game one was a see-saw battle with four lead changes.

MAHWAH, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...New Jersey City University junior centerfielder KEN WITTE (Wantage, NJ/High Point Regional) launched two homeruns and tallied five RBIs while junior first baseman JORDAN TETRICK (Delray Beach, FL/Radnor (Pa.)) added a homerun but Ramapo College scored six runs in the third inning and added three runs in the seventh and eighth frames as the Roadrunners overcame NJCU, 14-8, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game on April 29 at Jeff Maund Field. It was the final scheduled road game of the regular season for NJCU.
