NJCU’S INVOLVEMENT IN ‘CANS ACROSS THE CONFERENCE’ PROGRAM YIELDS DONATIONS TO JERSEY CITY FOOD PANTRY

- NJCU's SAAC committee recently donated its collected food items to a Jersey City food pantry. JERSEY CITY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | The New Jersey City University athletics department's  Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) recently participated in another successful food drive as part of the New Jersey Athletic Conference's third annual “Cans Across the Conference” program.
 
Donations from the NJCU Community yielded 164 canned goods and other non-perishable items during the month-long initiative. All food items were donated this week to the C.A.U.S.E. Center, a food pantry located at 739 Bergen Avenue in Jersey City.
