NJCU/MONTCLAIR SOFTBALL POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 26

Christen Hall will be one of three seniors honored on April 26 after game one of a rescheduled doubleheader against Montclair State.

JERSEY CITY, NJ…Tuesday’s New Jersey Athletic Conference home softball doubleheader between New Jersey City University and Montclair State University has been postponed until Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at NJCU’s Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex. It will become the final regular-season games of the 2009 season and Senior Day for the Gothic Knights.
 
Between games of the doubleheader on April 26, NJCU will honor senior pitcher ANDREA DELUCREZIA (Belleville, NJ/St. Mary’s-Rutherford), senior third baseman CHRISTEN HALL (East Rutherford, NJ/Becton Regional) and senior pitcher/designated player LACEY SKOWRONSKI (Bayonne, NJ/Holy Family Academy).
 
In all, Tuesday’s postponement is the fourth of the season and third due to inclement spring weather.

Men's Basketball NJAC titles
NJCU has won a record 11 New Jersey Athletic Conference championships in men's basketball. Rowan has won 10 and William Paterson 9.
Bowling, 3 Final Fours
The NJCU Women's Bowling teams has been to the National Collegiate Final Four three times in the first six years of the championship's history. NJCU appeared in 2004, 2006, and 2008, finishing 3rd in 2004 and 2008. NJCU also was fifth in 2005 and 2009.
Women's Volleyball, 2005 Champions

When the NJCU Women's Volleyball team won the 2005 New Jersey Athletic Conference championship, they became the first Gothic Knight team to win an NJAC women's title.
