, NJNominations for the New Jersey City University Athletics Hall of Fame are still being accepted through the NJCU Office of Sports Information through July 31, 2009.
 
Founded in 1979, the Hall of Fame is now home to 124 exceptional individuals and one team, and has featured 17 induction classes. The next induction ceremony will be held in February 2010, with selections made in October 2009.  The last ceremony was held on February 1, 2008.
 
Eligible candidates include NJCU student-athletes whose final year of sports participation was five years ago or more (2004 or earlier) and have earned a degree from the University, an NJCU coach who has served at least five years at the school, a non-athlete/coach who has made significant contributions to NJCU Athletics, or individuals who participated in varsity athletics at NJCU and went on to outstanding sports careers after graduation.
 
Nominations can be submitted directly online at the NJCU athletics website at www.njcugothicknights.com. Forms can also be attained by calling the NJCU Office of Sports Information at 201/200-3301, or via e-mail at ithor@njcu.edu.

Men's Basketball NJAC titles
NJCU has won a record 11 New Jersey Athletic Conference championships in men's basketball. Rowan has won 10 and William Paterson 9.
Women's Volleyball, 2005 Champions

When the NJCU Women's Volleyball team won the 2005 New Jersey Athletic Conference championship, they became the first Gothic Knight team to win an NJAC women's title.

Bowling, 3 Final Fours
The NJCU Women's Bowling teams has been to the National Collegiate Final Four three times in the first six years of the championship's history. NJCU appeared in 2004, 2006, and 2008, finishing 3rd in 2004 and 2008. NJCU also was fifth in 2005 and 2009.
