JERSEY CITY, NJ…New Jersey City University will host the 2009 Hudson County Interscholastic Athletic Association (HCIAA) boys' volleyball championships on Thursday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at NJCU's John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center, located on Culver and Westside Avenues.
Three-time defending HCIAA champion Bayonne will look to defend its title when it meets St. Peter's Prep on 'Charlie Brown Court.' NJCU also hosted the HCIAA girl's volleyball finals in October, 2008.
This championship marks the fourth that NJCU has hosted in the last year. NJCU's Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex will play host to the HCIAA softball finals next week.
