RELAY RESULTS

PHILADELPHIA, PA…The New Jersey City University women's outdoor track and field team tested itself against the most difficult competition in collegiate track and field on Thursday evening, competing in the 4x400-meter relay at the 115th Penn Relays, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field. The three-day pinnacle of track runs from April 23-25.
 
The tandem of freshman DESERIA SANDERS (Lakewood, NJ/Long Branch), senior five-time All-American EBONY BARNES (Elizabeth, NJ/Elizabeth), freshman MELLISA GOODWIN (Howell, NJ/Howell) and junior CANDICE BELLAMY (Maplewood, NJ/Columbia) timed 4:22.74 overall. NJCU placed 82nd overall in the field, which consisted largely of Division I competition. The Gothic Knights were fifth in heat 10.
