JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...MARC BROWN, who led New Jersey City University's men's basketball team to two ECAC post-season appearances as interim head men's basketball coach in his first three seasons at the helm of the program and mentored a pair of New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year selections, has been appointed to the position in a permanent capacity following a coaching search. Brown will begin his fourth overall season with NJCU in 2010-11.

JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...The 19th annual Ballard/Stallworth College Summer League is underway for the 2010 season and will feature games on Monday and Wednesdays throughout the month of June, at Kean University's Harwood Arena in Union, NJ. EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...New Jersey City University held its 2010 Commencement ceremonies on Wednesday, May 12 at the IZOD Center and among the 1,512 undergraduate and graduate students to receive their degrees were 29 former Gothic Knight student-athletes, including several who were among the best to ever play their sport at the University.

His award is for week 15 of the 2009-10 men's basketball campaign, and is the final award of the season.
